Dr. Dawn Lemonius’ professional career started when she entered the teaching profession immediately after completing High School. Having become a Teacher of Mathematics, Social Studies, and History at secondary and high schools, she transitioned into the corporate world by becoming trained and certified as a Secretary. Her work environment exposed her to training, so the natural inclination was to embrace this career.
The journey into corporate training began when she joined the Training Department of the Jamaica Tourist Board as an Administrative Assistant. Since then her career in training and development has been further honed through working with and being trained by JAMPRO Corporation, Tourism Product Development Company, and HEART Trust/NTA. She was further afforded the opportunity to contribute her skills and competencies in human resource management and training in various tourism and non-tourism organizations.
